The name MRKD (pronounced “marked”) reflects a deeper identity: to be marked by God is to be set apart, distinct, and belonging to Him. As women of God, we are not shaped by the patterns of the world or the spirit of the age, but by Christ Himself. We are marked by His presence, made distinct, called to be lights, and bearers of His image in the everyday spaces we live in and the lives we touch.
